Some excerpts from the book “The Alphabet of what Lies Ahead” from 2021.

The 64-page book holds a series of drawings and collages by Rein Vyncke and Onio (Adriano Cinelli) produced over a period of 18 months in 2020-2021, just before and during the pandemic period.

Initially, this collaboration was meant to be a one-month residency inside the KOP space in Antwerpen, but the corona-virus forced us to cancel the residency and postpone the exhibition, twice.

So instead of collecting air miles, we decided to create this book.

The texts alternating the artworks are reflections which we collected from the people around us in November 2021, at the height of the corona lockdowns, both in Brasil and in Europe.
